The Fatima Theater in Kedgwick hosted the semi-finals of the Accros de la chanson competition, an event which combines musical competition and supervision, allowing young artists to train in the creation of their own music, in collaboration with professionals in the sector .
Organized by the Fédération des Jeunes Francophones du Nouveau-Brunswick (FJFNB), the competition aims to promote young talents in the province. In addition, the organization organized the Équinoxe conference, allowing students from 22 French-speaking schools in New Brunswick to learn, exchange and discover new activities in a fun way. Three solo artists and three groups were chosen for the final which will take place on February 15 in Caraquet, as president Emma Raphaëlle announced on the airwaves of The morning.
