Nagui and Leïla Kaddour, tandem of “The Original Band” on France Inter, will be the masters of ceremonies for the “Bravos d'or” on France 2 in January 2025. This new show aims to reward the biggest cultural successes of the past year, all arts combined, the producer announced to AFP this Monday, November 18, 2024.The starting point was to tell myself that, since 'The '7 d'or' (the TV awards which disappeared at the beginning of the 2000s, editor's note), television no longer had its awards party“, explains Nagui to AFP.
Rewards based on objective criteria
If “Les 7 d’or” distinguished television shows, “Les Bravos d’or” wants to be “a cross-sectional ceremony“, with around fifteen categories. “The entire world of culture will be represented: cinema, theater, television, radio, books, podcasts, streaming, etc.“, explains Nagui. This show will not be “not an election“but will stand”a statement“public success: there will be no vote or jury and the rewards will be based on measuring the number of entries or sales, audiences, etc.”The observation of public success is not an insult in itself“, claims Nagui.

The filming of this program will take place “during December at the Théâtre Marigny“in Paris. If the show achieves a good audience – Nagui does not specify what that means – “it is doomed to repeat itself in the following years”according to the host who is carrying out several major projects this season.
After celebrating Bercy's 40th anniversary during a special “Taratata” bonus in October, he will host this ceremony in January before focusing next summer on the return of “Intervilles”. The presenter will relaunch this cult television brand with Bruno Guillon, Valérie Bègue, Camille Cerf, Magali Ripoll and Yoann Riou, but without cows. Their absence led several cities that left their mark on the show to decline the invitation.
However, Nagui is not abandoning “Don’t forget the lyrics!”, which continues to be released regularly in prime time (even recently with “Les Masters”). The access show, which he has presented on France 2 since 2007, will unveil its new decor in mid-December, on the occasion of its 7,000th issue: “It is a revolutionary setting, with a screen structure articulated by 40 motors“, promises Nagui.
