. At more than 450 euros, tickets for the Glastonbury festival sold out in 35 minutes

The organizers are rubbing their hands. “Tickets for Glastonbury 2025 are now sold out,” they wrote on the festival website and social media at 9:35 a.m. local time. “Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and sorry to those who couldn’t, on a morning when demand was much greater than supply,” they added.

You had to be very quick this Sunday morning to get a ticket for the most famous British festival and have the chance to pitch your tent at Worthy Farm, where the event takes place.

Programming still unknown

You also had to be prepared to spend 373.50 pounds sterling for a ticket and 5 pounds for the booking fee, or 452 euros. Without knowing who will perform on stage. The announcement of the program is expected early next year.

The festival, which started in 1970, will take place June 25-29 before taking a break in 2026 to let the soil of Worthy Farm rest.

Last June, approximately 210,000 people attended the event, for which tickets sold out in less than an hour. They had attended concerts by Coldplay, Dua Lipa and SZA on the legendary Pyramid Stage. Shania Twain was also among the headliners.

Those disappointed on Sunday morning still have a chance to get the ticket: the canceled tickets will go on sale in spring 2025, according to the organizers.
