Glastonbury Festival sold out in less than 40 minutes

The Glastonbury festival ticket office was stormed this Sunday morning. All tickets were gone within 35 minutes.

A real success. Less than 40 minutes is the time it took the Glastonbury festival, which will be held from June 25 to 29 in the United Kingdom, to sell out.

While its ticket office opened this Sunday, November 17, at 9 a.m., its organizers announced on the X network, a little more than half an hour later at 9:35 a.m., that the tickets were “now sold out”.

The organizers, however, wanted to reassure latecomers, specifying that “a resale of all canceled or returned tickets will take place in spring 2025”.

Programming not yet known

Tickets have been snapped up without the program having yet been revealed. The latter should be done during the first quarter of 2025. Several names have already circulated, such as the group Oasis, who immediately denied it, or even Eminem, who has not confirmed either.

This did not prevent festival-goers from paying around 450 euros to ensure they attend the most famous British festival next June, while the 2026 edition will not take place. The event will not return until 2027, in order to allow the soil of Worthy Farm, where the meeting is held each year, to rest.

This year, some 210,000 people attended this major event.
