Star Academy – A violent argument breaks out between Marine and Ulysses: “Get out!”

After a surprise evaluation that she thought she had missed, Marine discovered with amazement that she was once again in the top 3 of the week, just behind Marguerite, second in the ranking, and Julie, in first position.

Ulysses annoyed by Marine’s behavior

Happy with this outcome, the 24-year-old from showed a big smile when Michael Goldman mentioned her name. A little further away on the sofa, Ulysses, silent, glared at her. After the departure of Michael Goldman, Marine tried to speak with the Marseillais, with whom she has been very close since the start of the adventure. But nothing happened as she hoped…

“Get out!”, he violently shouted at her as she walked into the boys’ room to talk to him. “You don’t realize how annoying this is,” Ulysses then told her before explaining the reason for his anger towards her: “Every time, you come back with evaluations, you are disappointed, and you achieve top marks.” “I don’t know, I have the right to feel things all the same,” Marine replied. “Yeah, but it wasn’t justified,” Ulysses retorted.

Seeing her comrade completely closed to the discussion, Marine left the room then burst into tears on the stairs of the castle. “He yells at me because he says that I came out crying (from the evaluation), that I am in the top 3 even though I cried,” she explained to her classmates, surprised to seeing her in such a state. “He’s an idiot, sorry. Marine, you felt something, you expressed it, it’s legitimate,” Marguerite then said to reassure her. For his part, Franck tried to reason with Ulysses. “People’s feelings are true, even if they seem unjustified, it’s true,” he mused before encouraging his friend to go and apologize to Marine.

After calming down, Ulysses went down to find his adventure partner to clarify things. “I was angry, I don’t blame you at all, it’s not true. It’s just annoying. It’s like people when I was in middle school who said: ‘I missed my evaluation’, and they have 18. It’s annoying, that’s all, I don’t blame you, it’s just boring,” he explained to her before apologizing: “It’s not. not yours to apologize for, It’s me who apologizes in the story (…) Franck is right, if you perceived it like that, in reality I have no right to judge. All’s well that ends well!
