the Academy unveils the list of Revelations for the next edition

Franceinfo Culture reveals the 32 candidates in competition to succeed Ella Rumpf and Raphaël Quenard, the winners of the 2024 edition.

Cesar Night 2025, which will be held on January 13, 2025, will highlight new talents in French cinema. The Révélations committee of the Académie des César, made up of 14 casting directors renewed each year, has designated 32 young actresses for the official selection of Révélations 2025, formerly called “Espoirs” until the César 2024. These 16 actresses and 16 actors, chosen for their exceptional talent, will compete in the Female Revelation and Male Revelation categories during the first round vote of the Caesars.

Furthermore, a short film directed by Vanessa Filho, highlighting these new faces of cinema, will be unveiled during the Revelation Evening on January 20. This project, supported by Chanel, official partner of the Academy, will be broadcast on social networks and to the media, in order to allow the public to discover these future big names in French cinema.
