Three villages, eight companies and eight plays… Here is the 2024 program proposed by the Festival de théâtre du Hérisson 77 association which offers, from November 15 to 24, 2024, performances in Arbonne-la-Forêt, Bourron-Marlotte and Cély -in-Beer (Seine-et-Marne). Created in 2003, the association is now a key player in local culture and promotes links between municipalities.

Bourron-Marlotte

• What is theater?

The Coche Cuche theater company proposes to discover What is theater?Saturday November 23 at 3 p.m., in Bourron-Marlotte. How to dress? Can we be bored? Take off your shoes? Leave before the end? Questions that the public can ask themselves. The two actors will try to answer it by combining smokey theory and practical demonstration. A text full of derision to put spectators back on the right path: the one that leads to theaters.

The company La Comédie de la Mansonnière present Cat in pocketSaturday November 23 at 8:30 p.m., in Bourron-Marlotte. The spectator will (re)discover Feydeau’s play: a whirlwind vaudeville in 3 acts. The story of a tenor who is not one and who goes from Bordeaux to Paris to study, but falls in love with a woman thinking that she is someone else and ends up marrying a third… Quid pro quo , misunderstandings, lies and hidden loves: a modern Feydeau, Audience Prize and Director Prize at the Bougival festival.

The RoZame company propose The pelvis tiltSunday November 24 at 3 p.m., in Bourron-Marlotte. A social comedy that questions an intimate theme: birth. Three generations of women are gathered around a birth and a piano. Three lives which tell of their doubts, their frustrations, but also their hopes, their desires and their loves, for music, for their man, for their child. This closed session poses a question: is life written like a score?

Arbonne-la-Forêt

The company The flight of the past offers a performance of the piece Les MidinettesFriday November 15, 8:30 p.m. in Arbonne-la-Forêt. Spectators will discover the moving testimony of the author’s grandmother on a social fact… In 1917, while the fighting was getting bogged down, women trembled for their husbands at the front and worked hard at the rear… The Midday girls from sewing workshops refuse wage injustice and their desire for emancipation will push them to lead the first feminist struggles.

The troupe Les Mordus offers his piece 39 MarchesFriday November 22 at 8:30 p.m., in Arbonne-la-Forêt. In 1914, when the war was not yet in the news, but all countries were preparing for it… A confidential formula would give an advantage and spies were on deck. The viewer is immersed in the race against time of a Londoner who discovers a mysterious secret organization to save his country. A spy comedy with amazing characters for a family comedy.

Cély-en-Bière

• The reunification of the two Koreas

The company To tell the truth proposes the piece Reunification of the two KoreasSaturday November 16 at 3 p.m. in Cély-en-Bière. There was a time when the two Koreas were one, but the story presented imagines what the reunion of two separated nations could be like. The play talks about love – or the absence of love – with humor for a journey that will leave no one indifferent…

• Around the world in 80 days

The company Le Rideau darned offers a Around the world in 80 dayss, Saturday November 16 at 8:30 p.m., in Cély-en-Bière. The insane bet of six actors who bring to life around thirty characters who cross continents… The company reinvents this journey of Jules Verne in a crazy comedy which will make the whole family laugh by following the adventures of Phileas Fogg and his servant Passe-Partout .

The Brunante theater suggests the piece WildSunday November 17 at 3 p.m., in Cély-en-Bière. The viewer discovers an agi-comic duo who meet in a park at nightfall. When one pushes the other to their limits, everything becomes wilder, sometimes funny, sometimes disturbing. An acting performance focused on the two characters being differently alike and resembling each other differently.
