In the middle of a concert, Chris Martin, the singer of Coldplay, interrupted the show to help a little boy crushed by the crowd. The scene took place in Sydney (Australia) on Wednesday November 6, reports BFMTV.
Tens of thousands of people were present at the British group’s concert. But Chris Martin noticed that a child was in difficulty in the pit, in the front row. He then asked the security agents to take him out of there, in order to put him on the other side of the barriers.

“We will take care of you”
“You can sit here, you don’t have to be tight.” You don’t need to be crushed by all these adults,” he told her, as evidenced by a video posted on TikTok. “Sit there little guy… Feeling better?” We will take care of you,” the singer assured the little boy. Chris Martin then resumed the concert to the cheers of the spectators, won over by his gesture.
A few days earlier in Melbourne, still in Australia, the artist had already made a name for himself. While speaking to the audience, the 47-year-old singer fell into a trapdoor. He was walking backwards on the stage and therefore did not see the hole there. On the video relayed on X, we see arms coming out of the hole to hold him back. “That was, uh, not planned.” Thanks so much for catching up with me. Thanks guys,” he told his technicians. “Damn, we were close to the YouTube sequence,” he joked.
