Who are the Tarn-et-Garonne Taste Brigades?

In 1983, several renowned chefs from Tarn-et-Garonne came together to create Les Tables gourmandes du 82. Under the leadership of great chefs like Dupond, Terrassier, Resseyre and Alain Blanc, Tarn-et-Garonne cuisine was going to be recognized. In October 1997, Les Tables gourmandes gave way to the Association of Restaurateurs of Tarn-et-Garonne under the presidency of Jacques Depeyre.
The association was created by a group of friends, all artisan restorers from the department. Over the years, the group has grown and today has 14 restaurateurs spread throughout Tarn-et-Garonne.
In 2022, the association gave itself a new name and a new identity that matches its ambitions: La Brigade du Gout. The objective is to develop local and regional gastronomy and to make the voice of restaurateurs and local producers heard beyond borders.
All products are purchased directly from local producers. Seasonal products inspire chefs through numerous creations, both sweet and savory. Local recipes, traditional but also modern, are offered by the chefs.
