This Friday, November 22, a man in his sixties entered a McDonald's in the 18th arrondissement of Paris armed with a “large caliber revolver”according to information from Parisian. The events took place shortly before noon in the restaurant on Boulevard Orano, near Porte de Clignancourt.
The victim died a few minutes later
Once he entered the fast-food restaurant, the man shot a septuagenarian, hitting the victim's chest and head. According to our colleagues from Le Parisien, the man was taken care of by emergency services but that was not enough.
Although he did not die instantly, the septuagenarian died a few minutes after being taken into care by emergency services.
The shooter was quickly arrested when the police arrived, offering no resistance or attempting to flee.
He was waiting for police officers at the crime scene. An investigation was opened and entrusted to the second judicial police district.
