The 13th edition of the Eurydice short film festival in Fécamp ended on Sunday November 10, 2024 with the announcement of the winners. The erasers of the Tour de France
The public prize went to “Les Effaceurs”, by Frédéric Vin. “A tasty film about an unknown profession in the Tour de France”underlined Philippe du Janerand, the sponsor of the festival. They are responsible for erasing trash or political inscriptions painted on the roads, before the runners pass.
The jury, chaired by Anne Girouard, fell for “The Island”, which features a duo of castaways on a remote highway rest area. And for “Karateka”, where two sportswomen are confronted with their rules.
