A few weeks ago, the MEP and companion of the host of “What an era!” hurt his back while moving his father André Glucksmann's library.
Philippe Caverivière couldn't help it. In its October 31 issue, The Point revealed that Raphaël Glucksmann hurt himself by moving the many books by his father, the philosopher André Glucksmann, from the family apartment. Since then, the MEP has been forced to wear a corset. It didn’t take much for the comedian to dedicate part of his column to him in “What a time!”.
So, on Saturday evening, he had barely settled on the set of the France 2 talk show when he hired the companion of Léa Salame . Much to his chagrin. “I stayed attentive to the news and I did well because there was a major political event which was reported in an investigative newspaper, Gala I believe”he began. With these simple sentences, the journalist and host immediately understood what her columnist was referring to and released a “Oh no!”. Not enough to convince Philippe Caverivière to stop there. “Your roommate, your roommate++, Raphaël Glucksmann, injured his back while moving his library. We didn't come far from a very rotten death.”he continued before playing a TV news presenter announcing bad news: “And we learn that the French author and politician Raphaël Glucksmann died crushed by his collection of books, notably the complete Harlequin books”.
Facing him, Léa Salamé, always quick to laugh at the comedian's jokes, then commented: “Is this really necessary?”. Philippe Caverivière continued: “No obviously, in Raphaël's library, there are encyclopedias, books by his dad André, there are dictionary books, there is La Pléiade… It must be hell to move an intellectual, it's culture is heavy”. And to conclude with self-deprecation: “Whereas an idiot like me, you move him. Florence [Peyre, NDR] who is my friend, he made my move, there were two Pif Gadgets, a Playstation, a frame with a signed Jean-Pierre Papin jersey, two gold square tickets for Les Forbans… What did it take? A quarter of an hour”.
