Les Insatiables acts to reduce inequalities linked to food and allow everyone to have a diet that is good for their health and for the planet. To combat these inequalities, they propose actions to practice eating from farm to fork. From the discovery of products to the fight against waste through gastronomy, the approach is global and allows the mastery of know-how by the most sensitive audiences: young people, seniors, people in precarious situations, etc.

Three workshops are planned at the cultural center of Conches-en-Ouche (Eure) on sustainable food and zero waste.

Three workshops

Friday, November 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. : benefits, methods, tips and making lactofermentation recipes.

Friday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. : cooking a product from A to Z, zero-waste cooking workshop and friendly tasting.

Tuesday, December 3, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. : creation of two recipes in jars.

Through its workshops, the Les Insatiables association will focus on reducing food waste and ‘homemade’ cooking using fresh produce. “Our actions take into account the management of food waste from purchase to consumption in order to limit food waste and reduce packaging. In our workshops, we share the recommendations of the National Health Nutrition Program (PNNS) to provide consumption benchmarks.”

Good and beautiful

We are not all equal when it comes to food. The consequences are tangible both in terms of the increase in malnutrition diseases (undernutrition and obesity) as well as in the environment.

The Insatiables

Les Insatiables works to enable everyone to adopt a sustainable diet for their health and well-being. To this end, they offer several programs aimed at the general public and professionals. They are also engaged in an action to promote collective catering professions throughout the food system (farmers, chefs, restaurateurs, etc.) in order to respond to the lack of attractiveness of the professions, to compensate for the shortage of workforce and limit precariousness in the sector.

Workshops on Friday November 15, Friday November 22 and Wednesday December 3, 2024, at the Conches Cultural Center: reservation required for the full cycle on 06 15 68 37 39.
