Since 1999, the November 25th is placed under the sign of the fight against violence against women.
An international day which gives rise to several actions et initiativesincluding from certain municipalities and communities.
In Blangy-sur-Bresle, in Seine-Maritimethis subject of domestic violence, and by extension that of intra-family violence, is the subject of a working group animated by the municipality and the Information Center on the Rights of Women and Families (CIDFF) of Seine-Maritime.
It is at the initiative of this working group that a free cinema session will take place Friday November 15 2024, at the town hall.
Film and discussion time
For several years now the municipality has offered, approximately once a month, film screenings in partnership with the Local Public Company. Ciné-Seine.
It is to this system that the initiative is added, by making one of the two sessions offered on this date free, that of 20 h 45.
The film chosen for this operation is Love and forestsdirected by Valerie Donzelli with, as headliners, Virginie Efira et Melvil Poupaud.
When Blanche crosses paths with Grégoire, she thinks she will meet the one she is looking for. The bonds that unite them are quickly woven and their story is built in passion. The couple moves, Blanche moves away from her family and her twin sister, and opens up to a new life. But thread by thread, she finds herself under the influence of a possessive and dangerous man.
To go further, a exchange time with professionals of prevention will follow the session, for all people wishing.
