In Callac, a check for €14,500 given for the purchase of cellular imaging equipment

This Friday, November 8 in Callac, a check worth €14,500 was presented for the benefit of research on cystic fibrosis at the Inserm Unit in , represented by Professor Tristan Montier, in the presence of the ATD company. (Argoat Turbo Diffusion) and the endowment fund of the Fondation Banque Populaire and Crédit Maritime Grand Ouest; these three companies are behind the fundraising. The PLB Muco and Gaétan Saleün associations position themselves as essential players in the fight against cystic fibrosis and wish to create a real surge of solidarity to improve the lives of people affected by this disease.

The amount of this check will be added to the €100,000 endowment from the Region, and €45,000 from the PLB Muco association. The amount raised will be used to acquire cellular imaging equipment, in order to promote the development of a treatment for cystic fibrosis by the research laboratory, the cost of which is around €170,000. “The device should be delivered in the first half of 2025. It will help us to obtain the best for our patients. These solidarity actions are a great example of resilience, of exemplarity, thank you doubly for your action,” commented Professor Montier.
