Laury Thilleman and André Manoukian open the summer

We are still a week away from the Fête de la Musique, but France 3 has decided to get a little head start on the summer with this program presented by Laury Thilleman and André Manoukian.

The tandem will take us to Marrakech, where some of the greatest voices of French song have met, accompanied by Gnawa musicians, Berber drums and fire eaters for covers of standards with oriental sounds. Slimane will cover “Salma Ya Salama” before singing with Claudio Capéo their success “Chez toi”. Pascal Obispo and Khaled will perform “Aïcha” together. Farrah El Dibany and Chimène Badi will be in a duo for “Le temps des fleurs”. Vitaa, also present, will cover “La solitudine”. Vincent Niclo and Manau will reinterpret “La tribu de Dana”, while Chico and the Gypsies will accompany all the artists to perform “C’est la vie” together.

If the kick-off of the Euro football is not your cup of tea, this “Oriental Song Festival” should allow you to escape from the world of football for a few hours .
