The end-of-year festivities will start in Sète from December 6. The City has lifted part of the veil on the program.
The end-of-year festivities will start in Sète from December 6, with the official opening of the activities from 5:30 p.m. Place Léon-Blum will be transformed “in a fir forest”announces the City, with “XL-sized illuminated automatons, a mapping on the facade of the town hall (to be discovered every evening) and Christmas stories in the evening”. On December 6, magical entertainment with music, mulled wine, hot chocolate, and gingerbread tasting will be offered.
Throughout the month of December, still on Place Léon-Blum, “the toy factory” will offer an immersive experience mixing visual scenography and sound ambiance.
Luminous water jets, musicals, strolls…
On Place Victor-Hugo, Christmas carols will accompany the luminous jets of water from the “fountain with moving flowers”. The traditional Christmas Run is scheduled for Saturday, December 7.
On December 14, strolls, face painting, gospel and shows will arrive in the heart of the city, followed on the 15th by a musical, photos with Santa Claus, face painting and puppets. On December 16, it’s time for the jousting tournament organized by the Lance Amicale Sétoise, before the Christmas light parade. At the end of the day, a show made up of 30 artists will perform, with a visit from a certain Snow Queen…
On December 22, the mascots will parade, before the Christmas concert by Jean-Michel Balester. Finally, on December 24, the makeup stand will be required, without forgetting the stroll of the peña Bella Ciao through the streets and the arrival of five artists in luminous costumes.
