three concerts in the region, elegance and refinement

At the beginning of the 1990s, while BritPop was imposing its swaggering arrogance, the group Tindersticks was showing its nose with finesse in the clubs of Nottingham. With an already brilliant science of pop stripping and the unfeigned elegance of its leader Stuart A. Staples. Thirty years later, Tindersticks continue their path, off the beaten track.

This fall, the group released their 14e album, one of his most successful: “Soft Tissue” opens with a marvel of a song shrouded in soul (“New World”). Followed by nuggets like “”, where we feel the ghost of Leonard Cohen emerging, the very cinematic “Soon to Be April”, Always a Stranger” with its gentle swing, and other intimate and warm ballads, dressed in brass, of choirs and graceful violins.

As an expert and adult quintet, the Tindersticks have just enchanted the most beautiful theaters in Europe. And finally arrive at our house.
