Camilla Parker Bowles ill: her schedule turned upside down

The sovereign was due to attend the launch of Remembrance Day commemorations at Westminster Abbey on Thursday, which run until November 17, in memory of soldiers lost during the First World War. Absent, she will be represented by the Duchess of Gloucester. That same day, Queen Camilla was also due to attend a reception given at Buckingham by the King, in honor of Olympic and Paralympic athletes.

However, Buckingham Palace spokespeople are hopeful that the Queen be restored – or at least in better shape – by this weekend, so she can attend the Sunday morning memorial service at the Cenotaph in Whitehall. Hopefully the “short rest period” recommended by doctors takes effect.

Camilla Parker Bowles “exhausted” by her long journey?

The queen, aged 77, returned last Wednesday from a long official trip to Australia and the Samoa Islands, ending with a detour to India. This 9-day journey, carried out alongside her husband King Charles, may have “exhausted” the sovereign, as a media insider suggested Fabulous in mid-October. Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, explained that this trip could be “extremely exhausting” for Queen Camilla.

Furthermore, the British Crown expert confided that the Queen Consort “didn’t like to take the avion”. “She is very tired because she was not born for this royal life. I know she's been working on it for a long time, but
she was not born for thisand I think people sometimes forget that Camilla never had a job
”, explained Ingrid Seward. It remains to be seen whether this trip had any impact on the queen's health.
