Quentin R., former participant of the reality TV show “Les Anges”, was arrested this Monday, November 4 in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois, in France, for “aggravated pimping in an organized gang”. He is suspected, with Marika N., a 29-year-old Brazilian woman, of managing a prostitution network. According to information from Le Parisien, the couple rented apartments to Brazilian prostitutes via platforms such as Airbnb and Booking, and published ads on the “Sexemodel” site, pocketing part of the earnings.
Investigators from the DCT (organized crime division) of Essonne were alerted by an anonymous report, mentioning that Quentin R. and his partner were attracting South American women, often already in France or coming with their help. Quentin R., also known as “Kentin” since his participation in 2019 at The Angelswould have used his notoriety to reassure these women.
The investigation reveals that the couple managed around twenty online advertisements, reserving half of the profits. Analysis of bank accounts shows frequent transfers from South American women identified as prostitutes or victims of pimping. In addition to the wiretaps put in place, the investigators intercepted a conversation where Quentin R. informed an interlocutor that he had “around ten Brazilian women available” with residence permits, specifying that he had to check their situation with regard to screw visas.
