Heavy Weekend 2025 at Open Air: Slipknot headlining

After a very good year in 2024, the Heavy Weekend returns to the Open Air, just to offer lovers of heavy metal and hard rock a second edition as beautiful and enjoyable as the previous one. See you on Friday June 6, Saturday 7 and Sunday June 8, 2025 in the region to vibrate to the rhythm of three explosive days. On the programming side, the Heavy Weekend confirms the arrival of Slipknot as the first headliner!

Lovers of extreme music can have a smile. In the summer of 2025, musical events dedicated to metal are still expected to be numerous, led by Hellfest in Clisson and the GARDEN TILLERS in Carhaix.

For fans of this musical genre, and residing in the Grand Est regionhere is some news that may make you smile. THE Nancy Open Air confirms its return and organizes the second edition of its special metal weekend !

Simply named “Heavy Week-end“, this festival risks once again arousing the curiosity of many metalheadexpected to Maxéville of Friday June 6 to Sunday June 8, 2025.

For three days, several groups and artists will perform on one and the same stage, that of the Zenith du Grand Nancy. And be careful, for this second edition of the Heavy Week-endGérard Drouot Productions announces something heavy with the arrival of Slipknot as the first headliner!

The American nu metal group, originally from Des Moines and led by Corey Taylor, intends to overthrow the Zénith du Grand Nancy on Sunday June 8, 2025at the end of the event.

As you can imagine, many other metal bands and legendary artists will join this lineup. So, stay tuned to discover the rest of the line-up and see you very soon to opening of the ticket office !

Remember, last summer, the Germans of Scorpions, the Americans of Extreme and Megadeth as well as the legend Alice Cooper without forgetting the British of Deep Purple and Judas Priest had the show during the Nancy Open Air, the 21 , June 22 and 23, 2024, just a few days before Hellfest.
