Humanitarian action: Fally Ipupa and Innoss’B support young talents and victims of conflicts in the DRC

Scholarships offered to 100 young Congolese

Fally Ipupa, internationally renowned Congolese artist, enthusiastically revealed the list of one hundred winners of his scholarship program. This philanthropic initiative aims to support promising students in various fields of education, giving them a chance to turn their aspirations into reality. The hundred winners come from diverse backgrounds and are enrolled in a variety of academic disciplines such as science, arts, technology and many others. Each winner was selected based on their academic achievements, potential and commitment to their studies.

The Fally Ipupa scholarship program aims to promote education and skills development for young people in the DRC. By providing financial support, the musician’s foundation allows students to focus on their studies without worrying about financial constraints. Fally Ipupa expressed pride and enthusiasm towards the winners, encouraging them to continue working hard and persevere in their efforts. He also highlighted the importance of education as a means of change and development for the community.

Fally Ipupa, through its foundation, is committed to promoting education and the development of young talents in the DRC. This scholarship program is an extension of this commitment enabling deserving students to continue their studies and realize their potential. This gesture is an inspiring example for other artists and philanthropists, demonstrating that music and charity can go hand in hand for a positive impact in society.

Innoss’B and Vlisco come to the aid of victims in eastern DRC

The textile group Vlisco has joined forces with the artist’s foundation Innoss’B to launch the “All together for peace” initiative. This partnership aims to help the population affected by conflicts in eastern DRC, a part of the country affected by violence and humanitarian crises. This initiative aims to provide humanitarian assistance to victims of conflict, offering them essential resources such as food, medical care and shelter.

In collaboration with Innoss’B, Vlisco launched a fundraising and donations campaign to mobilize the resources necessary for this humanitarian aid. The official delivery of a check for 50,000 US dollars in favor of displaced people from the east of the DRC was made in the residence of the ambassador of the Netherlands, Angèle Samura. Vlisco RDC had launched a humanitarian campaign with the collections of super Wax Wote Pamoja and Amani, a percentage of the proceeds of which was donated to the singer’s foundation. These funds will be used to provide assistance to internally displaced families in three areas: socio-economic reintegration, support in savings banks and internal loans and village associations as well as educational reintegration.

Innoss’B and Vlisco continue to appeal to the generosity of the public to support this initiative. They encourage everyone to contribute, whether through financial donations, in-kind donations, or by participating in fundraising events. Their message is clear: together we can make a difference and bring some light to the lives of people affected by conflict.

Innoss’B, whose real name is Innocent Balume, is a renowned Congolese artist who uses his notoriety to support humanitarian causes. Through this initiative, he shows his commitment to the victims of conflicts in the DRC and demonstrates that solidarity and generosity can bring significant change to the lives of people in distress.
