The designer Emil Ferris cancels his appearance at the Utopiales in this Sunday

She was the star guest of the 2024 edition of Utopiales, the science fiction festival, which is in full swing in until this Sunday evening, November 3. It is to her that we owe the poster for this 25th edition. The designer Emil Ferris will not be in Nantes, as planned, this November 3.

A major exhibition is dedicated to the American artist, “meteor that appeared in 2017 in the global comic book sky”, according to the festival, with the first volume of his best-seller What I like is monsters.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of the visit of Emil Ferris, explained the organizers of the Utopiales to the festival-goers. Due to her partner’s serious health problems, it is now impossible for her to move away from him. All our warm thoughts are with them during this difficult ordeal. We share your disappointment. […] Thank you for your understanding and solidarity. »
