“The omerta must be crazy”

The film industry has been particularly shaken for many months, even years, since the launch of the #MeToo movement, which encouraged women who are victims of sexual violence to speak out.

A question was asked to Audrey Fleurot during this meeting between the actress and the readers: “Have you experienced any complicated episodes?”. And the actress reveals that she too was a victim of violence.

“As a young actress, I had an experience during a love scene that didn’t go as it was written. I said: ‘But, am I going to end up with his penis on my buttocks live because nothing was planned?’ They answered me: ‘Are you an actress or not? We’re not going to spend the night there.’ There, you are feverish and alone, with the impression of having the responsibility of the filming. When you go home, you are like shit, you feel like something has been stolen from you. It’s a mini-rape, methods that, a priori, will no longer exist. The next day, you hate the director and the production manager tells you that the scene will not be edited.”she explained in her response relayed by the daily.

“So, there was no need. Just a roundabout way of possessing you. All of that was normal. Obviously, I should have said no. With MeToo, we experienced something essential. In companies, where employees rub shoulders for years, the omerta must be crazy.”added the actress.
