François Jagut named chef of the year 2025 by Gault &

In 2023, the sommelier of the year prize was awarded to Thierry Corona who officiates at Les Roses in Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxembourg. This time, it was François Jagut who won over the famous gastronomic guide Gault & Luxembourg, obtaining the prestigious title of chef of the year 2025.

Originally from and living in in Inglange, François Jagut, 43, has worked at the Les Roses restaurant since March 1, 2005, and has managed the brigade for four years. His kitchen team is made up of his second Loïck Martinez, Nicolas Bouillon and Florian Crugnola, his pastry chef.

The title was presented to him on Monday October 14 during a ceremony which took place at the hotel park in Dommeldange, which brought together all the elite of the Grand Duchy’s gastronomy.
