As in previous years, visual artist Françoise Langlois is opening her workshop located at 1, impasse des Baux (accessible via rue de Fontcalel) in Foncouverte to the public this weekend. She exhibits her works based on paper pulp inspired by the cycles of life. She invited four other artists for the occasion: Marie Do Farail (plant lace), Catherine Gros (cut paper), Roger Mendes (landscapes – wise lands) and Patrick Le Gay (sediments of random colors).
At the same time, at the Jean-Mathieu village hall, a collective of amateur artists from Fontcouverte and Comigne is offering the third edition of Fontcouv’Art, an exhibition of paintings produced individually or collectively, and also of art objects such as such as jewelry, wood or metal sculptures, pottery, ceramics, raku and painted pebbles. Both exhibitions are visible from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. FREE ENTRANCE.
The following week, during the weekend of Saturday October 26 and Sunday October 27Françoise Langlois will lead a course on the theme of masks. “In a fun and creative approach, you will discover or deepen the volume work of cellulose paste. I will guide you to define your projects and carry them out using paste and/or assemblies of small collected materials”. Price: 120 euros for two days (9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.), shared meal.
