Our six outing ideas for the weekend of October 19 and 20 in

1- Mushroom passion at the ecomuseum

The Bintinais ecomuseum, near , offers Passion mushrooms. Beyond the usual exhibition of the Mycological Society of Rennes, the museum will welcome chef Anouck Méléard-Soller, from Bloom Pop, who will demonstrate recipes using delicious mushrooms. Thanks to the Amyco urban mushroom farm, the public will discover the mushrooms that can be cultivated and how to cook them, with Les Champignons du pot, cultivation demonstrations, the Mycological Society of Rennes will offer activities on mushrooms and their role in biodiversity. Visitors will leave with their own bag of mushrooms ready to grow.

2- Youth creation in Marmaille

A highlight of youth creation, the Marmaille festival offers shows, cinema and exhibitions to discover from a very young age. It is aimed at all audiences. The festival reinvents itself every year thanks to the commitment of artists and different partner venues. The programming is open to the diversity of disciplines. During the festival, fifteen creations, 22 artistic proposals in Lillico / Guy-Ropartz room, Gros-Chêne metro station, and in the 17 partner locations, will be offered. 3- Dangerous Readers of feminist literature

The 6e edition of Dangereuses Lectrices, feminist literature festival is held in Rennes. Dangerous Readers aims to be a place to promote feminist writings and words. A festival that believes in writing and reading as two emancipatory activities. It also calls for the intersectionality of struggles with particular attention to ensuring that LGBTQIA+, racialized, disabled and economically disadvantaged people are represented. 4- War! dedication to the Convent of the Jacobins

An exhibition of photographs by photographer Alain Amet offered in the gallery of the Jacobins cloister reveals the work and oeuvre of War! street art figure. His works related to nature, fauna and flora, and raise awareness of ecology or current events. War! will be present at the Couvent des Jacobins to present and sign his book WAR! or the wild city, a retrospective of his work commented by the artist, and by Cyrille Gouyette, art historian, street art specialist and project manager at the Louvre Museum. The book published in the fine books collection of Editions Ouest-; the book is available in two versions: the bookstore version at €39, the collector’s version, with a numbered reproduction of a work slipped inside, at €69. 5- Battle au Festival Rennes Storming

The Rennes Storming festival runs until November 10. On the program for the 10e publishing, dance, performance, skateboarding, graffiti, parkour. The highlight of the festival: its international battle which will bring together all the winners of past years, and will take place on Sunday. The event remains open to Breton dancers. They will be able to qualify the same day to face international competitors. Last year, the festival brought together nearly 10,000 people, including 1,300 spectators for the battle. Full price: €10. 6- Imaginea new show from Cirque Métropole.

The Métropole regional circus is setting up its big top in Rennes for the autumn holidays. He proposes Imagine, his new family show. A show without animals, with just visual numbers, designed to transport the audience into the mysterious and magical atmosphere of the circus arts disciplines. Around ten artists will perform the numbers: balance, juggling, hand to hand… Until the colorful finale with all the artists. Prices between €10.90 and €21.80.
