Sophie Prégent had a memorable moment on television as a special guest on the show Live from the universe. For the occasion, her long-time lover, Charles Lafortunepaid him a particularly moving tribute.
Contrary to what one might have imagined knowing the setting of the show, he did not sing. Instead, he reproduced a piece taken from a film ofAl Pacino, Frankie & Johnnywhich had a profound impact on the actress!
He also renamed the film Sophie & Charly!
“I don’t usually take special requests on this show. If I sang, you would understand why. I may be crazy, but I still believe in love and this moonlight, Sophieit is for you”, testifies Charles with love, also making a nod to a song that Sophie’s mother played on the piano: Moonlight.
“Phew, it’s hot,” adds Sophievisibly moved by his words which touched her.
