Indeed, the public channel begins broadcasting the four episodes of its new mini-series, A suspicion. If Odile Vuillemin (Isabelle) is at the top of the bill, several other pretty names make up the cast, like the duo of investigators composed by Joyce Bibring (Mathilde) and Malik Elakehal El Milliani (Karim) – known for his role in Such a big sun. Not revolutionizing the thriller genre, the writing of the four episodes of the series written by Franck Ollivier nevertheless arouses interest with a modern tone, brought by the ambiguity of the muscular duel between the suspect and the main investigator. For the rest, if we can regret too early answers, a simplistic resolution or even a “soft underbelly” at the heart of the fiction, the whole remains more than convincing, largely also helped by the performance, once again, impeccable. ‘Odile Vuillemin, full of nuances, in this role of worrying widow, but also by the accuracy of Joyce Bibring. Watching itself with a certain enthusiasm, the mini-series should undoubtedly convince fans of detective series…
