The four Olympic photos, winners of the 18th photography competition of the City of Bourges, were unveiled this Saturday, October 12. The photographers behind these captures all received an award.
The 18th Bourges photo competition wasOlympic mood This year. This Saturday, Terre de Jeux 2024 awarded medals to the four winners of the competition launched at the end of May. The City was able to count on strong public participation, “with 200 photos received and more than 2,000 votes online,” underlines Constance Bonduelle, deputy responsible for Promotion and animation of the city.

The first jury and public prizes were awarded to Ludovic Lasne, for his photo Frustrationtaken at Bourges EscrimeS, and to Christine Perrono, for the photo of her daughter taken at the Blé hall, entitled le Sports at your fingertips. Second prizes from the jury and the public
On the second step of the jury and public prize podium, Sylvie Lorien, with a Detail of the Alice-Milliat rowing baseand Juliette Torres, with a photo of her daughter, Alma, 8 months, baby bear. An envelope of 150 euros was given to them.

As a reminder, the jury is made up of photography professionals, but also amateurs. They choose which photos will be exhibited on the gates of the archbishopric garden. It is then up to the general public to vote to select their favorite photos.
The theme of the 19th competition will be Bourges my love.
