The former president of the Sélection Group, formerly an empire of residences for the elderly which has now been dismantled, has gone through particularly complicated times.
At the beginning of the year, Real Bouclin had placed itself under the protection of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, saddled with debts estimated at more than $212 million. The collapse of his empire had put him in a critical financial situation, necessitating a significant restructuring of his personal finances. However, according to the latest information, he would have managed to come to an agreement with a majority of his creditors, thus avoiding the personal bankruptcy which weighed against him.
