The cultural program is exciting news in the Breton capital this weekend of Saturday October 12 and Sunday October 13, 2024. The editorial staff ofnews Rennes selected 10 outings not to be missed : All of Rennes Court, La Colombia, but also festivals, exhibitions… Overview.

A Flash Tattoo Day

Saturday October 12, the bar head of cabbage and the collective Bar-Bars Ink ! are organizing a Flash Tattoo day for the 2nd edition from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Two artists will present unique designs et originals which will only be tattooed once:

Saturday October 12 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Tête de chou, 15, Rue Kléber in Rennes.

La marche rose Colombia

The Colombia, a solidarity march, against breast cancer as part of Pink October, is organized Saturday October 12 from 3:30 p.m..

The distance is 2 km ; without stick and without age restrictions. The departure will be on the Esplanade of General Charles de Gaulle. “Smiles, laughter, sport and sharing are the key words,” summarize the organizers.

Conference on the birds of our gardens

HAS Cesson-Sévignéin the Bourgchevreuil park, a conference will be held at the media library, Saturday October 12, on the birds close to our environment and good practices to have as winter approaches, particularly in terms of power supply.

The conference is hosted by Stanislas Zaborowskinature animator. This is free, open from 12 years old and lasts 1 hour 30 minutes. reservation East desired, on this link.

“One teenager can hide another”, the humorous comedy

This piece, “A teenager can hide another”, will be performed at the Rennes Comedy Saturday October 12 5pm to 6pm 15. Comedy, humorous, is accessible to everyone. Reservation is made here.

All Rennes Court

Sunday October 13, several racess will be organized during Tout Rennes Court: 21 km, 10 km, 5 km, 4 km, 2 km and 1 km.

Singing to improve your English

Aux Beaux Parleurs, Sunday October 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., la chorale POP-UP Pop Rock will sing and invite spectators to join the group.

“Absolutely everyone, whatever their level or singing ability, is warmly welcomed into our fun, supportive and inclusive choirs and group singing workshops,” says the choir.

Pop, rock, world music… Several genres will be discussed and sung, in English, pour improve your language skills.

No need to read sheet music, no pressure for solo performances, everything is taught by ear. The only prerequisite? A love for music and a desire to sing with others.

Grief, loss, change: how to bounce back?

The Buddhist center Kadampra Drolma de Rennes propose a meditation session Sunday October 13 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This workshop will have the theme grief, loss and change.

During this workshop, we will discover how Buddha’s teachings help us grieve the small and big losses in our lives and move forward.

The program is composed as follows:

  • Teaching and meditation from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.;
  • Snack break from 3:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.;

Last day for the Now festival

The Now festival, which began on October 8, presents new artistic forms eclectic to meet visual arts, of the contemporary music and technological innovations, “all with a poetic touch and experimental”.
