Jennifer Lopez has revealed how her “whole world exploded” following her split from Ben Affleck earlier this year.

During an interview with Interview Magazinethe 55-year-old star admitted that the last few months have been difficult.
“I think my whole life I tried to tell myself I was good enough, until I got to this place where I knew. I give myself credit. I tell this little girl who grew up in the Bronx, “You did really well.” I didn’t do it for so many years,” she said.
“And now I think with everything that’s happened in my life, in my relationships and even in my career, I tell myself that we need to give ourselves a little comfort and love. We have been through a lot that no one knows about, but you have persevered and you refuse to give up and give up.”
She added: “With This Is Me… Maintenant…I felt like, whoa, I’ve come to this. I’m good. I’ve done all the work and look where I’m at, and then it’s like my whole fucking world exploded. »
She continued, “There’s something to be said about that, because things can really change your life in a way that you want to give up and say, ‘I don’t care, is too hard, I don’t want to do this anymore.” But I’m not there yet. I refuse to not give myself everything this little girl deserves. »
She also admitted that she was struggling to deal with speculation on social media surrounding her split from Ben Affleck, explaining that it was difficult to “see something hurtful”, adding: “Don’t get me wrong. I’m not Teflon. »
Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, 52, in August, on their second wedding anniversary, citing irreconcilable differences. She recorded the date of their separation as April 26, confirming months of speculation that the couple had split.
