“That’s it and I was born from this adventure. I am an adulterous child (…) So my father confesses to my mother. My mother welcomes me with open arms, I already have a big sister in this family, but unfortunately my father passed away when I was two years old, so my mother raised me alone with my sister. “(…) Secondary school, we want to belong and then we want to be like everyone else and there I clearly saw that I was not like everyone else. I saw that this story was shocking and distressing for many people, so I decided to keep it to myself and subsequently when people asked me: where are you from? …In fact, I was often asked: Which of your parents is white? Well, I answered: my mother. It wasn’t a lie, I just covered it up, I kept part of the truth to myself.
