Dos Mukasan or the success of Christopher Head

It is never easy to start against horses that have already raced, but this inexperience did not prevent Dos Mukasan (2 years old) to take his first victorious steps in the Prix Ectot, Thursday at Compiègne. In this maiden, contested over 1,400 meters, the son of Golden Horde (bred by Sumbe, the stud of Nurlan Bizakov) brings a new victory to his mentor, Christopher Head, in the youngest generation. Since the beginning of the year, the success is remarkable with 16 victories and 18 places with only 47 starters for the Chantilly professional. Architect of this success, Aurélien Lemaitre declared: “At the exit of the starting stalls, he took a knock, which upset him during the race but today he imposed himself on his class and he will progress on this race. In the turn, he tried to escape the others and still lacks a little maturity, but next time, it should go well for this colt who works well and who is esteemedA good mark will also be given to Marooned (third behind Prince Aubois), who leaned heavily to his left at the end, showing immaturity. Nevertheless, his abilities are beyond doubt.
