Knowmad Short Film Festival Calls for Entries [Monde]

Professional and amateur filmmakers from around the world can submit short films and compete for prizes.

The Knowmad Short Film Festival (KSFF), organized by the Knowmad Institut and the North Luzon Cinema Guild, is accepting entries. The fourth edition of KSFF features “Dialogues on Stigma,” inviting viewers to explore the societal impact of drug stigma through the power of cinema.

The works must articulate, interpret and express the progress of human dignity and human rights through the democratization of cinematography and the lens of people living in traditionally invisible territories.

Categories include documentaries, fiction, animations and vertical films.

Films must be made after March 2023 and be between five and ten minutes long. Films must not be published on an online platform before their screening at the festival.

Registration is free.

The registration deadline is September 20. The final deadline is Friday, October 18.
