Expected for next November, season 2 of Arcane is slowly heating up the sauce! After a first trailer released about ten days ago, Riot Games now reveals the tracks that make up the soundtrack of this second chapter. We note some big names, like Woodkid or the American group Twenty One Pilots, and also a duo that brings together the best of Belgium and France: the artists Stromae | Pomme are part of it with an original song, My best enemy.

An unexpected return

Stromae’s announcement is a (very) good surprise… In May 2023, the immense Belgian singer interrupted his tour – needing rest. A situation that echoed his 2015 break, due to depression aggravated by the side effects of malaria treatment. Once again, however, the artist is back.. 5 days ago, on Instagram, he gave news, the first in a long time. He announces the arrival of a film from his 2023 tour: “Multitude”.

Close collaboration

A return that will therefore be accompanied by a duet with Pomme – a well-known French artist, winner of two Victoires de la Musique in 2020 and 2021. For the moment, we have not had the right to a taste of My best enemy… “Each song is the result of close collaboration between the artists, the series managers and the composers of Riot,” explains Maria Egan, Global Head of Music at Riot Games, in a press release.

For now, The soundtrack for season 2 of Arcane has only been approached through Paint The Town Blueby singer Ashnikko (to be found just above). In any case, we know that music occupies an important place in Arcane’s identity. The theme song for season 1, by Imagine Dragons and JID, Enemy, was a hit: 5.6 billion streams, according to Riot Games.
