Ricochet will be making a comeback in Japan next month.
Indeed, the Japanese company GLEAT announced on its social networks that Ricochet will make his debut for their company on October 6, 2024. And it will not be an ordinary match since Ricochet will team up with his long-time partner CIMA.
Ricochet is signed full-time with AEW, but like other wrestlers, he can accept bookings outside of the company if it doesn’t conflict with AEW’s schedule. This will be Ricochet’s first match in Japan since 2017, excluding WWE. The announcement video:
Ricochet commented on the news on X by indicating that this will possibly be the last time he and CIMA will be a team, so this is a show not to be missed. Ricochet and CIMA had a notable stint in Dragon Gate where they won various titles from 2010 to 2012, a moment of nostalgia for fans of the time.
