The ultimate Saturday night dish, the burger is the French people’s favorite fast food product. While it’s a thousand times better to make it at home than to order it delivered, François-Régis Gaudry, a columnist on France Inter and host of the show Très Très Bon, suggests you make it from A to Z by preparing the bun yourself! Ingredients for 6 loaves

2 eggs
450 g of T45 flour
20 cl of water
8 cl of milk
30 g sugar
30 g butter
15 g of fresh baker’s yeast
5 g of salt
5 cl liquid cream
Sesame seeds

The steps of the recipe for perfect buns

In a bowl, start by beating an egg with the water, milk and yeast. In the bowl of the robot add the flour, sugar, butter and salt, and knead the mixture, at medium speed for a few minutes until it is sandy. Reduce the speed to minimum and incorporate the liquid mixture. Fold the flour from the edges to the center with a spatula and knead again at medium speed for 10 minutes. The dough should be smooth…
