The mirror brings depth and decorates our interiors. Do not place it anywhere if it is in the bedroom, its position in relation to the bed could determine the quality of your sleep.

According to Feng Shui (an ancient Chinese art whose rules aim to harmonize the energies in our environment), mirrors have the ability to double and reflect energy in space. This “energy”, called “Chi” in Feng Shui, is the energy that surrounds us on a daily basis. Depending on our mood or what is happening in a room, the walls, objects and mirrors are “charged” with the ambient energy. These energy flows therefore circulate, and can harm our sleep, making it too agitated. The main source of increased energy flows in a room remains mirrors. They reflect, of course, our image, but also light and movement.

The mirror in the bedroom, a bad idea?

We may not realize it, and yet, like light and movement, the mirror, through the reflection of the ice, captures the ambient energy. The energies are therefore reflected, and increased tenfold. An invisible phenomenon, certainly, but which can disturb our sleep, especially when it is in a bedroom. The room then becomes too “active”, and people falling asleep with a preoccupied mind risk being even more stimulated if a mirror is nearby!
