A song that, without being overtly political, comes out at an opportune time, as Kamala Harris’ campaign, after Joe Biden’s defection, is in full swing. The singer thus took to the stage of the Democratic convention on August 22, where he performed the song Higher Ground and urges the crowd to choose “courage over complacency.”
“Every song I’ve ever sung, every song I’ve ever written, it’s because of the love I have for you here.
