At Binz in Germany, we start from a Mercedes base and transform it according to the customer’s wishes into an ambulance, an official vehicle and even a hearse. For this Mercedes E-Class modified by Binz, it is a question of making it a ceremonial vehicle with six doors. This model, as for a production model from a major manufacturer, it is necessary to carry out a development period before approval.
Like the prototypes of major manufacturers, the prototype of the new Binz E-Class is camouflaged. This camouflage is present on the central part of the vehicle, since it is the addition of two additional doors and a significant lengthening of the wheelbase which differentiates the Binz E-Class from a “Normal” Mercedes E-Class.
An interior personalized according to the client’s tastes
Adapting to the wishes of each customer, this is the credo of the Binz bodybuilder which will offer this elongated car with a transformed passenger compartment which can benefit from three rows of seats, or a double row of seats (2e et 3e rows) facing each other, or any other arrangement that the client desires. With Binz and for a fee, there are no limits to individual interior design and shielding is also possible.
More than six meters long!
Compared to the original Mercedes E-Class which measures 4.95 m, we immediately realize that the car has a disproportionate wheelbase. Like the previous E-Class modified by Binz which had seen its wheelbase increased by 111 cm, in all likelihood, theThe new Binz E-Class based on the sixth generation should exceed six meters in length and display, according to our estimates, 6.06 m (4.95 m + 1.11 m). Suffice to say that you need a suitable garage to park this type of vehicle, which is longer than a Mercedes S-Class Maybach (which will be restyled soon) which nevertheless measures 5.47 m long.
