Mathieu Bedini speaks after being elected Mister France 2025

The 24-year-old young man from Haute-Savoie was elected Mister 2025 on Saturday January 25. He confides his impressions to BFMTV.com.

For a few hours, he has been the most handsome man in France. Mathieu Bedini, a young real estate graduate and 24-year-old DJ, was elected Mister France 2025 on Saturday January 25, following a ceremony at the André Malraux theater in Rueil-Malmaison. A national coronation after his election as Mister France Rhône-Alpes last September. He succeeds Charles Stamper, Mister France 2024. And it is with “a lot of pride” that he takes over, as he confided to BFMTV.com this Sunday, January 26:

“I'm proud to take up the torch behind Charles. He's done a lot to elevate the Mister France brand, and I hope to do at least the same.”

It was also the election of the latter, at the beginning of 2024, which convinced Mathieu Bedini to run. At the time, this young man from Sallanches (Haute-Savoie) worked in , and discovered that it was there that Charles Stamper lived: “When I saw that Charles lived there, I felt concerned”, he remembers. “I said to myself why not, it suddenly seemed accessible to me. So I registered for the Mister France Rhône-Alpes competition.”

“I think I also had the goal of surpassing myself,” continues the man who says he is “extremely determined”. “To step out of my comfort zone. It was a personal challenge.”

Real estate diploma, but DJ passion

The competition coincided, more or less, with the end of his real estate development studies; after his two years of alternation between and Annecy, he obtained his diploma last August. Since then, Mathieu Bedini has devoted himself to his passion for music:

-

“I'm a DJ (…) I make my living like that currently, and it will become my job throughout the year.” An activity that can easily be combined with his Mister France requirements: “I can have my weekends free and my days full.”

Enough, undoubtedly, to also allow him to indulge in his other passion: sport. The young man combines bodybuilding, running, swimming… “I live in a magnificent region, we can go skiing, hiking, cycling…”

Fight for the environment

Thanks to his title, Mathieu Bedini is also keen to defend a cause that is dear to him: raising awareness of eco-responsibility. “I was diagnosed with asthma when I was 17. When we are concerned, we are interested in the phenomena that affect us. I became interested in the consequences of pollution on my health.”

For this, he surrounded himself with the Ecocitizen Institute: “A group of individuals, students, citizens, businesses, elected officials, scientists, doctors, engineers, who seek to know the pollutants of the “air, soil, water”, he explains. “To understand the consequences on human health and the environment, and to provide concrete solutions in everyday life.”

The day after his election, Mathieu Bedini admits: this year is a leap into the unknown. After a marathon of interviews, he plans a “tour of France as Mister France, to show the cause that I want to defend.”
