The Bara’thym community bar has reopened its doors. A resumption with success with a stuffed mussels meal which attracted more than 60 people. A number so large that two services were held. Is it due to the reputation of Olivier Ambry, the super volunteer chef, or to the friendly atmosphere? Both certainly. Stuffed mussels for 66 people, the work is enormous. “The day before,” says Olivier, “I made the tomato sauce, and the next morning, very early, there were six of us preparing everything: stuffing the mussels which will be tied with an elastic band and then put in the oven, that takes time. Cooking is my passion, a way to let off steam.” The guests thank him for sharing his passion so generously with all his “cooking assistants”, essential to this associative place which allows us to live together.
