Blizz’ unveils the programming of its second edition in Port-Cartier

A BlizzTard evening, a 5 to 7 opening under the post-ski theme and family days are added to the beautiful weekend of snow sculptures planned on McCormick Island at Blizz’ART 2025 from 7 to February 9. The organizers will welcome several professional sculptors in addition to encouraging local talents.

The programming of the Blizz’Art festival in Port-Cartier was unveiled this weekend. The teams of the professional and competition component will be at work from 5 to 7 opening. He will be hosted by DJ Mario Richard, under the theme after skiing.

Family and amateur flags sculpture will start on Saturday morning. Family activities will be offered with different kiosks on site. Festival -goers will be able to eat outdoors on the island.

The evening of the Blizz Andard will take place with the performances of the Strutr and Kev groups and its musicians. On Sunday, activities resume at 10 a.m., with the end of the sculpture competitions. Food kiosks will be back on the site. In the afternoon, all the sculptures will be completed and the public will be invited to vote. The awards will take place around 3 p.m.

Recall that the organization has confirmed the participation of five teams of Quebec professional sculptors who participate in international snow sculptures competitions.
