The 24-year-old young man from Haute-Savoie was elected Mister France 2025 Saturday January 25. He entrusts his impressions to BFMTV.com.
For a few hours, he has been the most handsome man in France. Mathieu Bedini, a young graduate in real estate and DJ of 24, was elected Saturday January 25 Mister France 2025, at the end of a ceremony at the André Malraux theater in Rueil-Malmaison. A national coronation after his election of Mister France Rhône-Alpes, last September. He succeeds Charles Stamper, Mister France 2024. And it is with “a lot of pride” that he takes his sequel, as he confides in BFMTV.com this Sunday, January 26:
“I am proud to take the torch behind Charles. He did a lot to raise the Mister France brand, and I hope to do at least the same thing.”
It was the election of the latter, early 2024, who convinced Mathieu Bedini to introduce himself. At the time, this young man from Sallanches (Haute-Savoie) worked in Annecy, and discovers that this is where Charles Stamper lives: “When I saw that Charles lived there, I felt concerned”, he recalls. “I said to myself why not me, it suddenly appeared to me accessible. So I signed up in the Mister France Rhône-Alpes competition.”
“I think that I was also intended to outdo myself,” continues the one who says “extremely determined”. “To get out of my comfort zone. It was a personal challenge.”
Real estate diploma, but passion DJ
The competition coincided, more or less, with the end of his real estate development studies; After his two years of work -study between Lyon and Annecy, he graduated last August. Since then, Mathieu Bedini has devoted himself to his passion for music:
-“I am DJ (…) I earn my life like this today, and it will become my job throughout the year.” An easily conjugable activity with its imperatives of Mister France: “I can have my free weekends and full days.”
What, no doubt, also allow him to indulge in his other passion: sport. The young man combines bodybuilding, running, swimming … “I live in a magnificent region, you can ski, hiking, cycling …”
Fight for the environment
Thanks to its title, Mathieu Bedini is also keen to defend a cause which is dear to him: awareness of eco -responsibility. “I was diagnosed with asthma when I was 17 years old. When we are concerned, we are interested in the phenomena that affects us. I have been interested in the consequences of pollution on my health.”
For this, he surrounded himself with the Ecocitoyan Institute: “A group of individuals, students, citizens, businesses, elected officials, scientists, doctors, engineers, who seek to know the pollutants of ‘Air, soil, waters, “he explains. “To understand the consequences on human health and the environment, and provide concrete solutions in everyday life.”
In the aftermath of his election, Mathieu Bedini admits it: this year is a jump into the unknown. After an interview marathon, he supposes a “Tour de France as Mister France, to show the cause I want to defend.”
