Part 4 – Culinary stroll – Fabrice Mignot – Savoyard fondue

INGREDIENTS (4 people)

350g de Beaufort

350g of Comté

350g Savoyard Gruyère

1 clove of garlic

½ bottle of Apremont white wine

1 large loaf with a slightly stale crust

A few turns of the pepper mill

PREPARATION

Slice the bread into cubes and set aside.

Cut all the cheeses into small cubes. Rub the fondue pot with the peeled garlic clove and place it on the stove or ceramic hob over medium heat.

Pour in the wine and, when it is simmering, add the cheese cubes. Let it melt while mixing with a wooden spoon. Add the pepper and continue to mix.

Place the fondue on a stove in the center of the table then enjoy.

2 tips

→ If the preparation is too liquid, add a teaspoon of potato starch.

→ Break an egg into the pot when the fondue is finished for a real final bouquet!
