Want to go out this weekend Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January 2025 to take your mind off things? The writing ofnews Rennes offers you a selection of five outing ideas, almost all indoors to avoid the storm, to do alone or with others, even for petits budgets ! Vintage flea market, wine fair, dance marathon… There will be something for everyone.
A wine fair
The independent winegrowers’ wine fair opened its doors on Friday and will welcome the public until Sunday at the Parc Expo in Rennes.
” With more than 250 winegrowers coming from all over France, the Rennes Show is the largest gathering of the wine profession in the region,” say the organizers.
The exhibitors present want to advocate “lively and authentic” agriculture, in tune with consumers wishing to support local, fair and environmentally friendly production.
Saturday January 25, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday January 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Parc Expo in Rennes. Price: 6 euros entry; reduced price: 3 euros.
Dancing until you can't anymore
Le festival Waterproof organise un dance marathon with the company La Grive and DJ François Bae x Austher. The objective: to hold four hours non-stop by raising the choreographic challenges by Clémentine Maubon and Bastien Lefèvre.
For fun, two referees and facilitators will ensure the (ir)regularity and (non)seriousness of the competition. Come looking stylish, in shape and with a smile, we promise you an afternoon of laughter and sweat!
“The universe of movie theater invites itself to the heart of this 2025 edition. The dancefloor will be cult or it will not be,” warn the organizers.

A vintage flea market
The BananaJuice association is organizing a vintage flea market, at the Martenot hall. “There are vintage furniture, second-hand clothes, shoes, records…”, list the organizers. In total, 80 exhibitors coming from the Great West will come together to offer their best finds.
-The association has sought to promote “consuming differently” since 1992. For this, it has chosen to offer entry at 2.50 euros and free for those under 20 “to encourage them to consume differently”.
Sunday January 26, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Halle Martenot, Place des Lices in Rennes. Price: 2.50 euros / free under 20 years old.
A dance of dragons and lions
From Saturday January 25 until Wednesday February 5, the Confucius Institute of Brittany organizes a Chinese week.
Saturday, a food market and a forum for associations and Chinese teaching will take place within the institute. Then, head to the streets of Rennes to attend a dragon and lion dance parade.
This spectacle to the rhythm of drums and cymbals is “a blessing bringing prosperity and happiness for the new year”, indicates the institute.
Saturday January 25, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Confucius Institute of Brittany (17, rue de Brest): food market and association forum. At 3:30 p.m., departure of the parade from the institute towards Place la Mairie.
Discover young talents
THE iNOUïS of the Printemps de Bourges stop off in Rennes. This national tracking system makes it possible to select new talents who will be able to perform at the 48th edition of Printemps de Bourges, in April 2025.
Saturday evening, at the Antipode, spectators will be able to discover the selection of Brittany auditions 2024. It’s up to the artists to convince them to win their ticket to the festival.
