The tube machine Gims, the storm Zaho de Sagazan or even the veteran Sean Paul… All will be there to make the Solidays vibrate next June, the organization of the Parisian festival, support of international sick aid programs, revealed this Thursday of HIV.
This burst of names is added to that of Damso, announced in December by the festival, which will be held from June 27 to 29 at the Longchamp racecourse (west of Paris).
Alongside the Belgian rapper, one of the most talented of his generation since “Battery weak” (2016), other artists from the rap world are on the bill for this 27th edition, such as SCH, Kalash, Leto and MC Solaar. Already present last year, Werenoi, the biggest seller of records in France in 2023 and 2024, is at it again. With his inseparable dark glasses, Gims is expected to make the crowds dance to “Don’t be shy”.
From Sean Paul to The Empress
Jamaican singer Sean Paul, 52, known for his dancehall and reggae hits, will also make a stop in the capital during his world tour. “Temperature”, one of his classics, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
-Zaho de Sagazan, still in orbit with his “Symphony of Lightning”, and the young pop shoot Yoa, nominated for the next Victoires de la Musique, strengthen the programming.
Also announced, the group L’Impératrice is expected with its new singer, after the media departure of Flore Benguigui, who claimed to have suffered psychological violence from the other members of the group.
The ticket office will open on February 1st. In 2024, the Solidays had broken their attendance record, with 260,467 festival-goers in three days. The organizing association, Solidarité sida, however, stressed that this success did not hide “the increasingly numerous difficulties” that it faced in organizing such an event.
