The 23rd edition of the Meknes International Animation Film Festival (FICAM) will be held from Friday May 16 to Wednesday May 21, 2025, at the initiative of the Aïcha Foundation in partnership with the French Institute of the city. The event will be an opportunity to highlight the interactions between animated cinema and video games, with a trade forum to “foster enriching exchanges and the sharing of expertise”.

According to the organizers, “this platform will allow participants to meet professionals from the animation and video games sectors, through dynamic conferences and interactive meetings that will stimulate creativity and synergies.”

After the success of the previous edition, dedicated to Italian animated cinema, this year’s FICAM will address the links between animation and video games, in addition to “the social responsibility of companies in these rapidly expanding fields”, said a press release. . “This constructive dialogue between the different stakeholders promises to enrich perspectives and forge valuable links within the industry,” adds the same source.

In this sense, the organizers recall that this year’s FICAM “will not only be a festival, but a real meeting point where innovation and passion intertwine to bring new ideas to life”.
